METHOD FOR PRODUCTION OF VODKA "LIKSAR" Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: alcoholic beverage industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves preparation of solution by mixing ethyl rectified alcohol of the highest purification and water up to strength of 40%. Preliminarily, glucose is dissolved in softened water or in 40-% solution, filtered, and filtrate is divided in two equal flows. Sodium bicarbonate and one of filtrate flow are introduced into solution, cleaned on carbon-cleaning battery, filtered, and the second flow of glucose filtrate is added, and mixture is bottled. Prepared vodka has the following ratio of ingredients, kg/1000 dal: sodium bicarbonate, 0.2-0.4; glucose, 4.5-5.5; aqueous-alcoholic liquid from ethyl rectified alcohol of the highest purification and water, the balance. EFFECT: simplified production process; reduced cost price; improved organoleptical properties and broadened assortment of vodkas with mild and pleasant flavor.
