FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves forming graphic image in frontal plane by means of four acoustic converters coupled in pairs to which broad-band signal is sent. Its main harmonic fo belongs to frequency bandwidth 200-500 Hz. Acoustic signal amplitude and frequency are controlled as linear function of cursor distance from graphic image plane center. Deviation Δf of fo frequency is carried out in vertical direction depending on cursor distance from horizontal axis of frontal plane. The acoustic image is represented in real time scale by means of software simulation. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in transforming visual information into acoustic images. 5 cl, 3 dwg
