FIELD: satellite telecommunications. SUBSTANCE: method involves projection of beam array or cells to Earth from each of satellites set in order to establish communication with mobile user, transmission of communication line from one satellite to another upon its movement over mobile user. Since satellite movement is stabilized in three dimensions, beams or cells are precisely projected to predicted route over Earth surface. Each satellite moves across the Earth in only one direction. After detection of mobile user position inside specific cell, position of next cell for call transmission can be predicted. Additional calculation of bit error rate provides possibility to detect position of users which are located close to borders between cells. Results of this calculation of bit error rate show identity of cell to receive transmission from mobile user. EFFECT: detection of identity of next communication cell. 15 cl, 4 dwg
