SUBSTANCE: action of impact Px and static Po pressures of flow is converted to linear displacement of pistons located in chambers of body of actuator to second extreme position. Pistons are then moved to first extreme position by mechanical action of pushers of electromagnets of electromechanical unit. Mechanical action is stopped and resumed on one of pistons at moment when the other piston reaches second extreme position. Two sequential information time intervals To and Tx are selected in the course of each measurement cycle with the help of electronic measurement unit which are filled with counting pulses. Duration of time intervals To and Tx are compared and comparison result is used to evaluate momentous flow rate and summary result determines value of total flow rate.
