SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the aim-directed suppression of genetic information of viral mRNA for replication of retroviruses, for example, HIV in transfected hemopoietic cells, more specifically, to plasmids for expression of retrovirus HIV-1 anti-mRNA. Plasmids encoding anti-mRNA sequences provide the complete suppression of virus HIV-1 replication in human cells that are modified with respect to genes. Plasmids are useful for somatic genetic therapy of AIDS since they protect hemopoietic cells from cytopathic effects induced by virus HIV-1.
