FIELD: cleaning of waste gases, mainly catalytic neutralizers. SUBSTANCE: honeycomb member of catalytic neutralizer is formed by means of stacked partially crosslinked metal sheets forming many passages for flow of fluid medium. Device has forked retainer acting on each stack and profiled segments. Profiled segments may be coupled together forming solid mold. Each profiled segment has form-shaping surface for outer contour of honeycomb member to manufactured. At least two profiled segments may move in such way that at least one section of form-shaping surface adjoining the stack describes trajectory corresponding to outer contour of honeycomb member during motion in direction of respective free end of stack. EFFECT: avoidance of deformation of stacks and separate sheets. 7 cl, 6 dwg
