SUBSTANCE: invention relates to derivatives of 4-mercaptobenzoylguanidine of the formula (I) where R¹ means A; R² means A, unsubstituted phenyl or phenyl substituted with F, Cl, Br, pyridyl; A is alkyl with 1-6 C-atoms and their physiologically acceptable salts, method of their synthesis and pharmaceutical composition based on thereof. Proposed compounds and pharmaceutical composition inhibit Na⁺/H⁺-antiporter and therefore prevent cardiac disease and show cardioprotective effect. They can be used for treatment and prophylaxis of patients with arrhythmia, stenocardia, infarct and pathological hypoxic and ischemic damages.
