FIELD: pipeline valves. SUBSTANCE: gate valve is intended for use in pipeline sections difficult-to-get-at. Gate valve has a body with through channel and at least two holes coaxial to it for fastening members. These holes are either blind or plugged, and they are positioned along circumference. Circumference diameter is in the following relation with diameter of body lower part: D1/Dy = 1.05-1.22, where D1/D2 is diameter of circumference on which holes are loaded; D1 is diameter of lower part of gate-vale body; Dy is diameter of through channel of gate-valve body.
