FIELD: pipeline fittings for working fluid, particularly high contaminated working fluid. SUBSTANCE: gate valve has body with through channel, knife-like valve core (knife), seat sealing, gasket and gasket cap. Body has at least two openings for mounting elements, which form a circle with center axially aligned with through channel axis. Gasket is placed in slot made into valve body. Distance between slot bottom and channel axis is determined by the following equation: [(D1-d1)cosα]/2>h>Dy/2, where h is distance between slot bottom and through channel axis, D1 is diameter of the circle about which mounting elements are arranged, d1 is diameter of opening for mounting elements, Dy is diameter of channel, α is angle between center of opening for mounting elements and shutoff valve vertical axis. EFFECT: enhanced tightness by means of reduced knife length which is achieved by gasket unit size reduction and its improved arrangement into valve body. 6 cl, 4 dwg
