FIELD: industrial organic synthesis. SUBSTANCE: process consists in fluorination of trifluoromethane with oxygencontaining fluorine at elevated temperature. Trifluoromethane is preheated to temperature between 100 and 400 C and concentration of oxygen in fluorine varies from 0.05 to 0.2 wt %. Process is carried out in reactor filled with metal charge, wherein metal (copper, nickel, chromium) is appropriate for reaction conditions, in presence of tetrafluoromethane as diluent in amounts between 5 and 90% based on the weight of fluorine. EFFECT: enhanced process efficiency. 2 cl, 3 ex
