FIELD: machine engineering, namely manufacture of abrasive tools, possibly for deep peripheral grinding of hard-to-form materials with trend for flaw occurring such as burnouts and microcracking. SUBSTANCE: tool is designed for finishing parts at regulating heat flux directed into part. Tool is in the form of separate abrasive discs mounted on common shaft with axial gap one relative to another and inclined by acute angle α relative to plane normal to rotation axis. At end sides of tool washers are mounted in pairs; said washers have non-parallel ends with angle between them equal to α/2. Said washers allow to gradually regulate inclination angle of abrasive discs from zero until α. Pack of plate springs is mounted between abrasive discs; flat washers are adjoined to inner ends of discs. In description of invention relation is given for selecting inclination angle α of abrasive discs. Such design lowers thermal stress at abrasive cutting due to intermittent grinding of certain cross sections of worked surface at continuous grinding process. EFFECT: improved vibration proofness, enhanced efficiency and quality of grinding. 4 dwg
