FIELD: biotechnology, genetic engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention proposes recombinant plasmid DNA pU27HHV6 that is obtained on the base of plasmid DNA pUR290. Plasmid DNA pU27HHV6 comprises gene U27 fragment of human herpes virus of 6-th type encoding protein p41. Construction provides synthesis of the end antigen at the level 40-50% with the yield of purified product after affinity chromatography up to 98-99% of total cellular proteins. The prepared recombinant protein exhibits high level of sensitivity and specificity in IFA used for detection of human blood immunoglobulins specific to HHV-6.
