HORN MANUFACTURING MACHINE Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: food-processing industry. SUBSTANCE: machine is adapted for manufacture of wafer horns from individual, substantially flat wafer sheets produced from sugar-containing wafer dough, which are plastically deformable in hot state. Machine has immovable frame incorporating rolling mechanisms positioned for movement along closed path. Wafer dough sheets are delivered to each of rolling mechanisms in hot plastically deformable state to be rolled between rolling mold and mandrel for rolling wafer sheet into horn, with rolling mechanisms being movable along their path from charging position to discharge position. Endless chain of rolling mechanisms is extending along said path, each provided with carrier frame, on which rolling mechanism and rolling mandrel are mounted. Carrier frame is fixed on two endless transportation chains running in parallel with one another along movement path. EFFECT: simplified construction, compact arrangement of rolling mechanisms, and improved quality of wafer horns. 2 cl, 7 dwg
