BLOW-OFF COMPONENT OF AN AGGREGATE FOR STEEL PRODUCTION OR ITS HEAT FINISHING Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

Abstract RU 2230796 C1

FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is dealt with metallurgy. The blow-off component consists of coherent to each other parts of straight pipes, in which there are the gas-carrying channels positioned in a refractory material. The blowoff component is supplied with four degrees of protection against breakthrough of the melted steel: the part of a component with capillary channels is placed in its middle of an the component; the front part of the component and a section of the part of the component with capillary channels are linked through the intermediate chamber; the tail part of the component is made in the form of a bent pipe and placed in a loose material. The component is capable to rotate about its longitudinal axis in case delivery of gas is suddenly interrupted. The blowoff component also has a mechanism of vibratory axial motion. The technical result is maintenance of a stable feeding of gas, provided there are four degrees of protection of the aggregate against the melted steel breakthrough in the operation link of the blowoff component.

EFFECT: the invention allows ensure a stable feeding of gas, provided there are four degrees of protection of the aggregate against the melted steel breakthrough in the operation link of the blowoff component.
