SUBSTANCE: damping mechanism for tension device for driving belt comprises damping plate with friction surface, at least one guiding surface, and first and second points of contact for quick connection of the spring. This allows the torque of the spring applied to the damping device together with the reaction force applied to the rotating surface to load the friction surface in the normal direction.
EFFECT: reduced sizes, mass, and cost of the device.
