FIELD: mechanical engineering; piston internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed engine contains three cylinders divided by two walls. Two piston blocks are installed in three cylinders, each consisting of working and additional pistons rigidly connected by rod through wall, thus forming additional spaces between additional piston and wall. Compressor compresses and feeds air into combustion chamber and into hermetically sealed reservoir from which air is delivered into additional spaces through shutoff-and-bypass devices at definite period of cycle. Fuel is delivered to air flow when air from compressor is fed into combustion chamber. When air delivery into additional spaces is stopped, valve bypassing high temperature gas from combustion chamber into additional spaces along connecting pipeline is opened.
EFFECT: increased economy of engine.
