FIELD: engineering of highly sensitive thin-film ethanol sensor with fast response, technology for making the same and method for producing solution of precursors in form of molybdenum hexaneoates and bismuth, used for producing thin films of bismuth molybdate.
SUBSTANCE: thin-film ethanol sensor contains substrate, covered by thin film of bismuth molybdate, and contact electrodes precipitated on substrate by means of vacuum evaporation. Sensor is produced by sedimentation of thin film of previously produced solution of precursors in form of bismuth and molybdenum hexaneoates onto substrate at t ranging from 200 to 400°C. Then precipitated film is cooled down and contact electrodes are precipitated on sensor.
EFFECT: detection of ethanol after short time span.
