FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil-fat industry. Method includes mixing untreated vegetable oil with hydrating agent, exposing the obtained mixture, isolating phospholipid emulsion from hydrated oil, removing wax-like substances from hydrated oil. As hydrating agent, water solution of lactic acid with pH 4-5 in amount 1.5-4.0% to the weight of untreated oil is used. Wax-like substances are removed by successive mixing hydrated oil with 20-40% water solution of lactic acid at temperature 20-25°C in amount 0.5-1.5% to the weight of hydrated oil, exposing obtained mixture, its separation into treated oil and wax sediment, oil washing and drying.
EFFECT: production of high-quality refined vegetable oil, which does not contain phospholipids and waxes and has lower acid number and colour index.
