FIELD: medicine; hygiene.
SUBSTANCE: tampon for hygiene of the woman has the inserted tip, the tip for retrieval, a tape for retrieval and the continuous core made of strongly compressed fibrous material. The core is pressed radially out in relation to tampon axis. From a core, at least, partially rather not compressed longitudinal ribs are extended radially outside with equal angle intervals on a circle and between the inserted tip and the tip for extraction and separated from each other by longitudinal flutes. Longitudinal ribs and longitudinal flutes are executed by the spiral. Besides, the invention includes the method and the equipment for manufacturing of the specified tampon. The time interval during which the tampon absorbs an organism liquid, both a surface of the tampon and quantity of the fiber used for immediate absorption of a liquid of an organism, in particular, in the field of a fiber core is enlarged.
EFFECT: significant decrease of leakage after application of the tampon for the purpose of use.
