FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in chemical, food industry, in ecology, in automation of measurement process, in scientific research when determining structural peculiarities of water-salt solutions. Required parametres are determined by measured dielectric characteristics using experimentally determined dependences of indices of refraction and absorption of electromagnetic wave of decimetre range in water-salt solution on weight concentration of dissolved salt.
EFFECT: invention allows to automate measurement process and in this way to increase rate of analysis, and can be used in elaboration of distant methods of continuous monitoring.
