FIELD: personal articles.
SUBSTANCE: ironing apparatus, which includes iron (1) and portative base (2), containing support (21) for iron placing (1). Protective lid (4) is connected with base (2) and can take open position, in which protective lid (4) is placed from one side from aforesaid support (21) to provide access to the latter and closed position, in which protective lid (4) closes larger part of support (21) in such way, as to prevent access to iron, when the latter is placed on aforesaid support (21). In closed or open position protective lid (4) closes element of ironing apparatus, intended for manipulating by user, to prevent access to it and to ensure, in such way, function of safety additional to function connected with iron availability.
EFFECT: increase of user's safety.
