FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to detecting radiations using scintillation detectors. The technical outcome is achieved due to that, at an angle to a horizontal plate with photodiodes on the face there are at least two additional plates with photodiodes on the face. The additional plates are fitted on one side of the plate with overlapping and at an angle to each other. The additional plates are fitted parallel to each other on two sides of the horizontal plate. The additional plates are fitted with overlapping, at an angle to each other and are made in form of a spatial lattice.
EFFECT: determination of direction and detection of relativistic particles, for example muons or protons.
