FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: proposed wear-resistant ion-plasma coat based on complex nitride of titanium, aluminium and chromium ((TIxALyCRz)N) and applied on metal part contains chromium in optimum amount (z) depending upon the content of aluminium and titanium that varies from 1/7 to 1/5 of (x-y), with 0.05≤x≤y, x/y<1.
EFFECT: stabilised cubic structure and homogenised coat, higher temperature stability of phase composition and mechanical properties.
