FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: reference specimen is arranged on atomic power microscope scanner table to measure amplitude curves in alternating-contact mode. Then, reference specimen is removed for specimen to be analysed to be arranged thereon and amplitude curves to be measured in the same conditions. Then, angles of amplitude curve inclination of reference and analysed specimens are compared. If analysed specimen inclination angle exceeds that of reference specimen by more than 10%, das medium above analysed specimen is humidified unless discrepancy between said angles does not exceed 10%. Thereafter, gas humidification is terminated. The latest piece of piragraphite can be used as reference specimen.

EFFECT: higher validity of analysis.
