METHOD FOR CONDUCTING SELF-SUSTAINED LOW-TEMPERATURE PLASMA MOLECULAR SYNTHESIS AND APPARATUS FOR REALISING SAID METHOD Russian patent published in 2011 - IPC H05H1/24

Abstract RU 2428823 C2

FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: method of conducting self-sustained low-temperature plasma molecular synthesis involves an operation for exposing a volume of gas in a processing zone to a physical field created especially for that purpose and superimposing a magnetic field with given strength onto the zone of origination of the plasma generated during processing. The physical field acting on the gas medium is a variable magnetic field. Volume of the gas medium is processed using said magnetic field with strength of 1.0×104-1.0×106 a·m with frequency range 20-70 Hz. The processed gas medium used is atmospheric gases. The physical field effect on the air mixture takes place inside a chamber which is in form of a pipe section which is open at one end and linked to the atmosphere or a hollow box with a different shape. The apparatus for realising said method consists of a hollow chamber filled with a working gas mixture. Electric coils are placed in the body of elements making up a closed magnetic loop, where the said elements are made from magnetically conducting material.

EFFECT: providing conditions for the process of low-temperature plasma molecular synthesis in self-sustained mode.
