FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method involves preliminary induction heating of the item with eddy currents, application to it of the coating from hydroxyapatite with plasma-induction method, and its cooling. Preliminary induction heating of the item is performed at consumed power of 1 to 1.5 kW and current frequency on inductor within the range of 100-400 kHz. At that, cooling of the item is performed in the same technological volume by gradual reduction of consumed power so that the item temperature reduction (not more than 10°C/sec) is provided.
EFFECT: improving the quality of items owing to improving their mechanical properties.
