FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: in an active-matrix light-emitting display, having row and column buses, anode buses, a cathode bus and pixel cells, each containing an anode pixel, a cathode, an address N-channel MOS transistor, a control N-channel MOS transistor and a capacitor, the source of the address N-channel MOS transistor is connected to the column bus, the gate of the address N-channel MOS transistor is connected to the row bus, and the drain of the address N-channel MOS transistor is connected to the gate of the control N-channel MOS transistor, the drain of the control N-channel MOS transistor is connected to the anode bus, and the source of the control N-channel MOS transistor is connected to the anode-pixel, the first lead of the capacitor is connected to the gate of the control N-channel MOS transistor and the second lead to the source of the control N-channel MOS transistor, cathodes of all pixel cells are connected to the cathode bus, the display additionally includes K pulsed anode voltage sources, where the value of K ranges from 1 to the number of row buses; the pixel cells are grouped into K groups, where K groups of pixel cells are parallel to row buses; outputs of the pulsed anode voltage sources are connected to anode buses of the corresponding pixel groups, and common leads of the pulsed anode voltage sources are connected to the cathode bus.
EFFECT: improved quality of displaying information on active-matrix light-emitting displays owing to higher pixel brightness.
