FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves cutting a bone segment with an implant, dissecting the bone to an implant surface, attaching ends of this bone segment to a test machine, attaching an increasing load on the bone segment to its disruption with the use of said machine, and determining a limit tensile load of the bone-implant system. The implant position in the cut bone segment is determined with the use of X-ray images. The ends of the bone segment is attached to the test machine by placing them into steel holders with epoxy resin with the holders thereafter placed into a device shaped after the holders to complete resin hardening. The bone is dissected to the implant surface in the direction perpendicular to a long axis of the bone. The increasing load on the bone segment with the implant is directed towards the long axis of the bone. After the limit tensile load of the bone-implant system is determined, a tensile area is derived from electronic microscopic or photographic images of a tensile region to calculate a tensile strength by formula: σ=P/S, wherein: P is the limit tensile load H;S is the tensile area m2.
EFFECT: higher evaluation accuracy of the tensile strength of the bone-implant system in osteointegration by determining the tensile strength limit.
