FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method consists in measuring the proportions of pixel colour values of sarcoplasms in digital images of the micropreparations in RGB-model of the colour space. The derived results are used to calculate: an express index of muscular pathology (E-Imp), as a percentage (%) of the damaged fibres in total number of muscle fibres, a pathology index (lfp), as the presence or absence of the tinctorially modified sarcoplasm, a pathology level (Lfp) as a percentage (%) of the regions with the modified tinctorial properties in total area of the sarcoplasm, a degree of pathology (Dfp) depending on the number of colour values (the first, second and third degrees), a muscular damage index (Imp), as a percentage (%) of the fibres with the modified tinctorial properties of the sarcoplasm in total number of the examined fibres, a level of the involved muscles (Lmp), as a percentage (%) of the fibres with the low, medium and high Lfp, and a degree of the involved muscle (Dmp), as a percentage (%) of the fibres with the degree one, two and three modifications as shown by the Dfp value.
