FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: bottom coating layer is applied onto a clean surface using a reaction gas by means of electric arc evaporation of a cathode from alloy BT5 together with magnetron sputtering of targets from alloy BT5 and zirconium till the coating thickness is 0.3 mcm. Further deposition of the coating to the specified thickness is performed by magnetron sputtering of targets from alloy BT5 and zirconium.

EFFECT: increasing adhesion strength of formed coatings and reducing the probability of occurrence and propagation of fatigue cracks in the coating body due to more homogeneous structure formed in the absence of cured microdrops that are formed when electric arc spraying equipment is used.
