FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: sensor consists of multivibrator with capacitive sensitive element, detector, the first threshold element, generator with inductive sensitive element, the second threshold element, inverter, the first and second AND gates, terminal serving as the sensor output. Sensitive element of the sensor is formed by inductive sensitive element in the form of inductance coil which is installed in a circular groove of the open end of ferrite core with central hole and capacitive sensitive element located inside this hole. At the sensor output signal with logic "1" is processed; this signal contains information about position control of a non-metal article. When position of a non-metal article is shifted the signal of its control is not processed at the sensor output and voltage with logic level "0" is available at its output.
EFFECT: extended functionalities of the sensor and improvement of reliability level for its operation and selectivity for non-metal articles.
