FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: method consists in cyclic measurement of increments of a rotation angle of an inertial body relative to a frame in the specified time interval. At the same time two inertial bodies are used, which are made of magnetostrictive material placed in two gaseous media with different pressure values. Mechanical oscillations are excited in two inertial bodies with ultrasonic frequency in the range from 20 kHz and to 50 kHz, as well as resonant oscillations of electromagnetic field in twelve oscillating circuits, currents are changed, which flow via twelve inductance coils of energy pumping into twelve oscillating circuits. Electromotive mutual induction forces are induced in inductance coils of oscillating circuits, under action of which amplitudes of resonant oscillations of electromagnetic fields are increased in oscillating circuits, capacitances of oscillating circuits are changed. Increments of angles of inertial bodies rotation relative to the body are measured due to change of frequencies of resonant oscillations of electromagnetic field of oscillating circuits.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase accuracy of measurement, manufacturability of making and service life of a device that realises the method.
