FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hollow glass objects, having increased light transmission and high protection from radiation destruction. Technical result of invention lies in obtaining general light-transmitting ability, higher or equal 70%, with glass width being 5 mm, and said light-transmitting ability is calculated by means of light source C, such as specified in standard ISO/CIE 10526, and observer, meeting the requirements of MKO 1931 for work in the field of colorimetry, such as specified in standard ISO/CIE 10527, and filtering ability, higher or equal 65%, in particular, 70%, and said filtering ability is determined as equal to value 100%, reduced by arithmetic mean of transmission from 330 to 450 nm.
EFFECT: claimed object has chemical composition of silicon-sodium-calcium type, which contains the following optical absorbing agents, quantity of which varies in the following weight range: Fe2O3 (total quantity of iron) from 0,01 to 0,15%; TiO2 from 0,5 to 3%; sulphites (S2-) from 0,0010 to 0,0050%.
