FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrochemical mechanical treatment of arched teeth of cylindrical gear wheels. Separate consecutive forced run-in of convex sides of all workpiece teeth is performed by means of tool for electrochemical mechanical treatment of convex sides of gear wheels and concave sides of all workpiece teeth by tool for electrochemical mechanical treatment of concave sides of gear wheels. Running-out of convex and concave sides of stock teeth is performed at continuous electrolyte pumping through interelectrode gap between toothed billet being anode, and one of said tools for electrochemical mechanical treatment, which is a cathode with formation of surface film of billet surface on treated surfaces. Said film is removed by rotating corresponding tool for electrochemical mechanical treatment and its one-profile engagement with processed toothed billet.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of treatment.
