SUBSTANCE: invention refers to biotechnology and can be used in the food industry, pharmaceutical industry, veterinary science, and agriculture. What is presented is a natural biologically active composition of shell and/or shell-containing crestaceous waste containing: chitin; fats; a mineral component of the shell; proteins; water; differing by its formulation dependent on the preparation conditions of the shell-containing and/or shell crestaceous raw material in the development condition and/or at the pre-peel stage that determines the qualitative-quantitative formulation of the given composition which consists of the ingredients in the following proportions (% at the dry shell basis): an active agent, wherein chitosan and astaxanthin are synergetic substances: chitin/chitosan 5.4 to 43; fats and carotenoid astaxanthin 10 to 18; an additional component - the rest; the mineral component of the shell; proteins; water.
EFFECT: invention enables using shell and/or shell-containing crestaceous waste effectively.
