SUBSTANCE: computed tomography or magnetic resonant tomography of the liver precedes radiofrequency thermoablation of metastases to determine: the quantity and dimensions of the metastases of colorectal cancer, as well as to measure a blood carcinoembryonal antigen and a cancer antigen 19-9, and to calculate a probability of the progression of the disease by formula. The derived value provides a basis to detect a low or high risk of developing the progression of the disease.

EFFECT: method provides predicting a risk of developing the progression of the disease effectively before radiofrequency thermoablation by determining the pre-operative computed tomography findings.
