FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pipeline transportation, particularly, to production of heat-and-moisture-proof assemblies used for construction of pipelines intended primarily for transfer of hydrocarbons. This invention consists in that at production of these assemblies made are controlled-length blanks of both helical steel shell and tubular metal element, antirust coating being applied on the latter. After coat application said blanks are arranged coaxially to make a circular space to be filled with heat-insulation composition. Note here that prior to application of antirust coating, at least tubular element is heated in two steps. It is, first, heated by naked flame in gas furnace along with pulling it along gas burners. Then, it is fed into inductor furnace to level the heating temperature at least in tubular element circumference.
EFFECT: higher reliability of coated assembly.
