FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to machine-building industry and can be used in belt-drum brakes of different types of winches. A belt-drum brake with a device of electrothermostimulated depolarisation of interacting sections of metallopolymeric friction pairs containing a brake belt with friction pads installed on an arc of contact with equal pitch, a combined pulley and a drive. The upper part of the pulley is made in the form of a frame ring from bipolar polymer material with a projection - a friction element of a dovetail type with pitch π 2 along its perimeter. Metal sectors with chamfers and flanges along their lateral sides between the projections.

EFFECT: achieving suppression of triboelectric effect and reducing energy load of metallopolymeric friction pairs of a belt-drum brake owing to using bipolar friction elements; reducing friction forces in friction assemblies, and as a result, reducing wear of working surfaces of friction pads.
