FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the method for manufacturing of a transparent plasma crucible (92) for a microwave source of light. The plasma crucible (92) has a through hole (93) and two tubes (981, 982) sealed in a butt joint to end surfaces (901, 902) of the crucible. One (981) of tubes prior to filling of the crucible is closed. The tube is sealed and processed on a turning lathe by glass, forming it as having a flat end (983). After vacuumising, dosing and filling with gas, the other tube (902) is sealed in a similar manner.
EFFECT: simplified process of sealing of a filled plasma crucible.
