FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: cutting tool has casing with cone hollow shank and work part located around the rotation axis. The shank contains cone part with internal groove made along the rotation axis, base surface perpendicular to the rotation axis and looking on opposite side relatively to the work part. Cone part for interaction with elements of the receiving device of the machine spindle chuck in the direction towards the rotation axis four radial holes arranged along the circumference are made, they have contact surfaces located at angle to the base surface to interact with elements of the receiving device of the machine spindle. Inclination angles of the contact surfaces for the first and second pairs of the diametrically arranged radial holes are in pairs equal and not equal between pairs.

EFFECT: increased rigidity of securing and damping properties of securing element of the tool in the receiving devices of spindles of the metal-working machines.
