SUBSTANCE: invention represents a method for inflammation imaging involving intravenous administration of gallium isotope applicable for radionuclide diagnostics and specified in 68Ga and 67Ga in the form of a citrate complex, and a substance blocking a metal-binding ability of blood transferrin, representing a physiologically acceptable ferric compound specified in ferric citrate, ferric tartrate, ferric lactate, ferric malate and ferric ascorbate, and imaging of areas of inflammation by positron-emission tomography and single-photon emission computed tomography.
EFFECT: inflammation imaging of enhanced information value within a short period of time following the introduction of gallium isotopes.
