Group invention also relates to a kit for carrying out an immunoassay using the said method; use in the immunoassay sample of blood or blood components by 25-hydroxyvitamin D perfluoroalkyl acid or its salts with a carbon chain length of from 4 to 12 carbon atoms for the release of vitamin D from endogenous binding proteins.
