FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method for microscopic analysis of a cell sample. Method comprises pre-incubation of a sample with a suspension of carbon quantum dots conjugated with an antibody against a molecular marker in the sample, and analysing the obtained sample using fluorescence microscopy by detecting a fluorescent signal of carbon quantum dots as a measure of the presence of a molecular marker in the cell sample. Carbon quantum dots are conjugated with an antibody against a molecular marker by planting said antibody on the surface of carbon quantum dots by adding a salt to a solution containing said antibody and a suspension of carbon quantum dots.

EFFECT: invention provides a method for microscopic analysis of a cell sample using fluorescent nanoagents, more readily available in production, not subject to photodegradation effects, having smaller dimensions and allowing their easy conjugation with biological receptors recognizing the desired targets in a microscopic sample.
