FIELD: electronic equipment.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to electrical engineering and power electronics, particularly to converters of electric energy designed as per scheme of two-link electrical converters. Technical result is improvement of reliability, simplified manufacturing, installation and operation, reduced weight, dimensions and cost of frequency converter, as well as automation of storage capacitor charging. Besides, suggested device has sufficient degree of universality that allows functionally combining in one device charging circuit of storage capacitor and circuit for two-link electric converter braking energy damping. Set task is achieved by frequency converter circuit added new connections that allow use brake resistor as charging resistor.

EFFECT: at minimum amount of elements improved functional capabilities of article are ensured, high reliability of operation, reduced weight, dimensions and cost, as well as static frequency converter automated storage capacitor charging.
