FIELD: electrical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the electrical equipment and power electronics, particularly to the electric energy converters designed according to the two-link electrical frequency converters scheme. In addition, the proposed device has sufficient degree of universality that allows the storage capacitor charging circuit and the two-link electric converter braking energy damping circuit functional combination in one device. In addition, the proposed frequency converter allows for rather simple diagnostics of short circuit presence and stop the storage capacitor charging in case of an emergency situation. Set task is achieved due to that to the frequency converter circuit the transducer and new connections are added, which enable to perform the storage capacitor controlled charging and use the resistor as the charging resistor and as the braking resistor. Positive effect of the invention consists in the fact that with minimum number of elements, the product improved functional capabilities are provided, increase in the operation reliability, the used element base modularity, universality and unification are appearing, as well as the frequency converter storage capacitor charging is automated.
EFFECT: technical result is increase in the reliability, increase in the frequency converter functionality, increase in the efficiency and the operational characteristics improvement, and also, what is especially important, making it possible to switch on the storage capacitor charge by the command from the control system.
