SUBSTANCE: invention relates to panoramic television monitoring, which is performed by a computer system according to panoramic television scanning method with the help of a single circular photodetector, in a spherical area, which occupies two opposed ball layers. Monitoring is carried out in parallel within the spatial angle of 360 degrees in azimuth and tens of degrees in the elevation angle for each ball layer. Result is achieved by that the photodetector of the television camera is made as per the CCD technology in the form of a circular ring and has charge-coupled connected "circular" photodetector area on a common silicon crystal, herewith the photodetector works out the first "circular" sensor target on the side of the crystal electrodes, and on the side of the crystal substrate - the second circular sensor target, herewith the monitoring system includes the first optical gate between the first panoramic lens and the first "circular" sensor target, the second panoramic lens and the second optical gate, which is located between it and the second "circular" target of the photodetector, a unit of gates control, sensor mechanical scanning unit, additionally included are a demultiplexer and the second unit for converting the “circular” frame into "square" frames (UCSC).
EFFECT: technical result is increasing the square of spatial spherical area controlled by the television camera by means of additional and parallel monitoring of the ball layer arranged in opposite direction relative to the main ball layer.
