FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to synthesis of island metallic catalysts and carbon nano-objects and can be used in industry for production of nano-objects and nano-structured films. Method of forming carbon nano-objects on glass-ceramic substrates involves placing glass-ceramic reference sample together with glass-ceramic working substrates in spattering zone, formation on said working substrates and a reference sample of island structure of metal film of a catalyst with monitoring of electrophysical parameters of formed island structure of metal catalyst by measuring capacitance of island structure of catalyst on reference sample, termination of sputtering of said catalyst when peak value of capacitance of formed structure of metal catalyst on glass-ceramic reference sample is achieved, sputtering carbon on island structure of metal catalyst formed on glass-ceramic surfaces of reference sample and working substrates, controlling resistance of nanostructure, consisting of formed carbon nano-objects on glass-ceramic reference sample and termination of sputtering carbon when resistance of formed structure of carbon nano-objects, synthesised on surface of island structure of catalyst, falls to a value where said structure of catalyst is closed by said carbon Insula nano-objects.

EFFECT: providing formation of island film catalyst on glass-ceramic substrates for subsequent synthesis of carbon nano-objects on its surface.
