FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, namely to devices running test treatment by ultrasound before processing of target with high-intensity focused ultrasound. Medical device comprises system of high-intensity focused ultrasound for ultrasound treatment of treated volume of subject, alarm device configured to allow subject to generate signal of discomfort during ultrasound treatment, memory with computer-executable instructions, processor for control of medical device. When executing instructions, processor receives set of points, processed by ultrasound, which includes coordinates of location inside treated volume, wherein at least one of set of ultrasound processed points is identified as test location. When executing instructions, processor controls medical device in order to carry out determination for each point, treated with ultrasound, from set of ultrasound treated points, if ultrasound treated point is test location, performing ultrasound treatment of point using system of high-intensity focused ultrasound, repeated testing on discomfort signal from signalling device during ultrasound test treatment, ultrasound treatment of ultrasound treated point, if ultrasound treated point is not test location or if discomfort signal was not detected, and cancellation of ultrasound treatment, if discomfort signal is detected.

EFFECT: use of inventions enables reducing pain in subject during ultrasound treatment.
