FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biochemistry, in particular to a sterile triploid transgenic plant of white birch with accelerated growth rate as compared to an untransformed plant, comprising gs1 gene with SEQ ID NO: 1 and obtained by agrobacterial transferring said gene gs1 into the birch Betula pubescens bp4a.
EFFECT: invention allows the efficient obtaining of a sterile triploid birch plant with accelerated growth rate.
