SUBSTANCE: for intraoperative prevention of the surgical intervention area infection during hernioplasty by mesh implants, a mesh implant is treated in vitro with a 0.5% hydroalcoholic solution of chlorhexidine during hernioplasty. The treatment is carried out for at least 10 minutes.
EFFECT: effective reduction of postoperative complications due to the pronounced antimicrobial effect of chlorhexidine.
